Bhutan Jomolhari Trek
Day 1: Arrival in Thimphu
Upon arrival, transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Visit the Memorial Stupa and majestic Tashichhodzong, the seat of Bhutan's government. Evening at leisure in Thimphu. Overnight in Thimphu at a hotel.
Day 2: Thimphu to Punakha
Visit key sites in Thimphu including the Takin Zoo, Buddha Point, Painting School, and Samtokha Dzong. Journey to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m) and explore the temple of the Divine Madman en route. Overnight in Punakha at a hotel.
Day 3: Punakha
Morning excursion to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten followed by lunch by the river. Visit Punakha Dzong, an architectural marvel at the confluence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu Rivers. Overnight in Punakha at a hotel.
Day 4: Punakha to Thimphu

Trek through lush forests, following the Paro river to Thangthangka. Camp at an altitude of approximately 3600m. Overnight camping.
Day 7: Thangthangka to Jangothang
Continue along the Paro river, entering a wide valley surrounded by high ridges and snow-capped peaks. Camp at Jangothang (4,080m) with views of Mt. Jhomolhari. Overnight camping.
Day 8: Jangothang (Acclimatization Day)
Explore Jangothang with views of Mt. Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. Visit yak herder villages and lakes. Overnight camping.
Day 9: Jangothang to Yaktsa
Cross Tshophu Lake and Bonte La pass (4,890m). Descend to Soi Yaksa village and camp at 3800m. Overnight camping.
Day 10: Yaktsa to Thombushong
Trek to Thombushong valley via Takhung La pass (4,520m). Encounter nomadic yak herders and camp at 4180m. Overnight camping.
Day 11: Thombushong to Gunitsawa to Paro
Descend to Gunitsawa army post and drive to Paro. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Paro at a hotel.
Day 12: Paro (Taktsang Hike)
Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), and Rinpung Dzong. Explore Kyichu Lhakhang and enjoy a leisurely evening in Paro. Overnight in Paro at a hotel.
Day 13: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure. Bid farewell to Bhutan, reminiscing about the unforgettable experiences.
